"Internet of things is the future [...] Italy, actually is a very very on top office research, so if you look, I have a device: that's Flyport from openPICUS, an Italian open source Company" - this was the description of Internet of Things and Flyport made by Dominique Guinard of webofthings at BTO 2011, the event dedicated to the long chain of tourist operators, to those who do research, study, work or will work.
BTO spoke to those who want to continue to improve their skills, understanding and interpreting the benefits of innovation.
If you are wondering what tourism and technology have in common, I will simply answer: Internet of Things, because internet of things connects the objects with the internet! The future sounds interesting!
